Civil Society for WPS Agenda

Overall objective

The WPS agenda is localized in BiH, through strengthened leadership of women peacebuilders, human rights advocates and women’s organizations, enabling the identification of and response to key human security concerns, threats of violence, tensions and divisions.

Specific objectives

• Strengthened capacities of women-led civil society organizations implementing the “Women, Peace, and Security” agenda at the local level.
• Improved partnerships between local-level institutions and civil society organizations in addressing key challenges in the field of human security, which particularly affect women.
